Can I put hot liquids in a FOF bottle?
No. All FOF stainless steel water bottles are single walled and not for use with hot liquids. This is because there is nothing to insulate the bottle and you could burn yourself quite easily. Warm beverages can be used at personal comfort level.
Can I put my FOF bottle in the freezer?
It's not recommended and it will void the one-year warranty against manufacturer defects.
Can I put fill my FOF bottle with an acidic beverage such as orange juice or apple juice? Yes.
How do I clean my FOF bottle? All FOF bottles are easy to clean because of their wide bottleneck. All FOF bottles are dishwasher safe and are also easy to clean with a bottle brush and mild soap. For a deep cleaning every week, we recommend an old fashioned cleaner; rinse with white distilled vinegar and baking soda. This method of cleaning will sanitize the bottle and provide fresh tasting water everyday. Caps should not be washed in the dishwasher (only by hand) as water can squeeze into the cap.
